Product Information
STEMing CD MSC Medium is an animal-derived ingredient-free (AOF) and chemically-defined (CD) medium that was developed to cultivate mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) in a serum-free environment. In particular, when culturing cells for cell therapy intended for human application, it is important to maintain cell growth without using serum to prevent side effects (immune response, various infectious factors, etc.) that
may occur due to the use of animal-derived serum.
Using STEMing CD MSC Medium, MSCs can be effectively cultured in a serum-free environment while maintaining their cell surface markers and multipotency.

Storage and Stability
Liquid media should be stored at 2-8°C, protected from light. Denaturation of liquid media can occur as (1) sediment or suspended matter, (2) cloudiness of the solution, (3) change in color, and (4) change in pH.
Storage conditions and shelf life of the medium may change depending on the nature of the additives added. The expiration date is indicated on the product label.Frozen additives should be stored at -20°C. Thaw at 4°C, RT or 37°C, but do not leave it at 37°C for too long. If the thawing and freezing process is repeated multiple times, performance of the medium may decrease.
- Complete medium can be used for up to 1 month when stored at 2~8°C.
- Coating solution should be stored at -20°C. Performance of the coating solution may decrease if the thawing and freezing process is repeated multiple times.
