Product Description

The 100 bp Ladder is prepared from pVEC DNA digested by EcoRI, followed by phenol inactivation of enzyme. And other materials are also completely removed. So you can always see the bands with high resolution and the same band pattern. The 100 bp Ladder contains 10 double stranded DNA fragments ranging in size from 100~1,000 bp in 100 bp increment and one 2,180 bp DNA fragment. Because this is prepared from one plasmid DNA, you can estimate the concentration as well as the size of sample DNA fragment.


Storage Buffer (for DM 1023, DM 1024)

12 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0)

1 mM EDTA (pH 8.0)


6X Loading Dye (for DM 1023, DM 1024)

15 % (w/v) Ficoll

0.05 % (w/v) Bromophenol blue

45 mM EDTA (pH 8.0)


Buffer I (for DM 1023L, DM 1024L)

10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0)

8.33 mM EDTA (pH 8.0)

2.5 % (w/v) Ficoll

0.0083 % Bromophenol blue

Final concentration (when mixed with lyophilized DNA)

2.5 % (w/v) Ficoll

7.5 mM EDTA (pH 8.0)


Instructions For Use

Solution Form

Mix DNA solution dissolved in TE buffer (pH 8.0) with 6X Loading Dye offered with our product in the ratio of 5:1 before use.

Ex. 1) 5 ul of DNA solution + 1 ul of 6X Loading Dye

Ex. 2) 10 ul of DNA solution + 2 ul of 6X Loading Dye


Lyophilized Form

Add 600 ul (DM 1023L), or 1.2 ml (DM 1024L) of Buffer I solution offered with our product to blue DNA precipitate, and dissolve it completely so that it may become the concentration indicated at the bottom of this product information just before using it.
